Fabulous gem of a restaurant in a small town. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Service is super friendly and attentive. Many great menu choices makes you want to come back for more. The decor and unusual lighting touches make for a great atmosphere. Lots of wood and lights that have been crafted, re-engineered for an amazing addition. Great burgers and pizza. Some evenings have live entertainment with a Nashville type feel. There is a small outdoor patio in front. A perfect small town restaurant.

Decided to try this place while working in Carthage. SO glad we did. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, industrial style decor. The service was great she did forewarn us it would be about 35 minutes before we would be able to get any food. We quickly ordered an appetizer because we were starving! We got the loaded fries they come with bacon, cheese, and SMOTHERED in cheese with a side of their homemade DILL heavy ranch. They were absolute delicious! I could've drank that ranch, you could absolutely tell it was homemade in house ranch. As soon as I saw it I knew. We cleaned the plate and I'm talking the whole plate even scraped the extra cheese on the paper . I couldn't decide what to do so the waitress recommended the Beez Kneez Pizza. It has pepperoni, jalapenos, red sauce, cream cheese and generously drizzled in hot honey. I got it without the cream cheese and I got the smallest size the 8 inch. It was so good. I'm not a fan of red sauce and it was still delicious. I did ask for a little more hot honey and they brought me out a HUGE container full to the brim I just dunked it on in there. All those flavors just combine to make one delicious fusion. My boyfriend got the hot Carthage chicken sandwich and onion rings and he said it was delicious We were floored how affordable everything was We liked this place so much we came back today for breakfast. Again I couldn't decide what to order so I got a little bit of everything: eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy, and avocado toast. The eggs were the best restaurant eggs I have EVER had. It tasted like theyre made with bacon grease which I am pro bacon grease in my eggs. Whatever they use they are INCREDIBLE The bacon was the perfect ratio of crispy and tender The biscuits and gravy was probably top 2 best biscuits and gravy I have EVER had. The biscuits were soft and fluffy, the gravy was seasoned to PERFECTION, perfect consistency. They were so good I ordered another one. I wasnt a fan of the avocado toast but that was due to my own personal preference. There wasn't anything wrong with it just the bagel seasoning is just not something I care for. I wasn't aware it had that when I ordered it. Next time I try it I'll get it without that and it will be perfect. Service was great today too! The server was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was super affordable too! Both meals were $30 before tip. Can't beat it! We will definitely be back and spread the word! If you're looking for a hidden gem with delicious food, great service, and affordable this is it! Bravo!

We were looking for an early morning breakfast place and found Nobel's in Carthage. Wow ! Everything was excellent ! I ordered the Caney Fork Signature Biscuit , I ordered mine with the sausage and eggs over easy. It was an open face biscuit topped with the 2 eggs , 2 sausage patties and a big side of sausage gravy. Seeved with your choice of side ... I had the breakfast potatoes which were perfectly crisp little cubed potatoes. All of it Delicious ! ( had a hard time keeping my fishing buddy out of my sausage gravy ). The historical pictures of local Nobel Peace Prize winners and other Smith County people from the past fit right in with the nice wood finished room. Highlight was our server..Jera. She was delightful and had an easy going spirit of hospitality that made us feel welcome. She seated us and served us. Great when restaurant people have the combination of warm hospitality and professionalism. She did. A gentleman came by from out of the kitchen and asked us how everything was and thanked us for coming. It was all outstanding.....We'll be back !

All of the food we ordered was wonderful and the prices were great! The one photo I took was of the chef’s salad I ordered. I couldn’t believe how large it was for the cost. The ingredients were fresh and high quality as well. We specifically liked the onion rings!

Shorter summary: Nobels is one of my favorite restaurants in Carthage… really Smith County. I can go there 2 days in a row and totally enjoy it. A great burger one day and a light Margherita pizza the next. I’ve never been somewhere that does both of those things really well. Usually a place is one or the other. My personal favorites, but there is plenty more on the menu. All of the food is “real.” No generic frozen Cisco stuff. The people are so nice and the atmosphere is really cool. It’s very family friendly. More detail than you may care about: The theme/name is the 2 Nobel Prize winners from the area: Cordell Hull and Al Gore. But inside is decorated with beautiful metal art and pre-industrial tools on the wall. It sounds odder than it is, it’s really cool. Somehow with that and cement floors it is only loud when it’s completely packed and is just comfortable. My youngest daughter is a very picky eater, but is obsessed with their ranch dressing. It’s homemade traditional ranch, but with a little dill. She’s working on honing in on the recipe herself . Adding this will probably give me away to them, but they are the place where I found Nashville’s Blackstone Nut Brown Ale and the only place in Smith County I can find it. It is my absolute favorite beer with food now. It’s one of 2 local restaurants that my whole family is excited to go to and the one we don’t burn out on. It’s not shocking for us to go there twice in a week because my two picky daughters want it and my wife and I are happy to go. With 2 parents working full time, we eat out more than we should. My wife and I have only done it a couple times, but their breakfast is also amazing.

I eat at this establishment on a regular basis. Sometimes my family does take out. This is the perfect place for business meetings, family meals, or just casual dining. Our favorites include the pizza, burgers, salads, pasta, and appetizers. I have never been disappointed with the food or service. Food and sauces are handmade. The atmosphere is amazing. The owners care deeply about customer satisfaction. I constantly receive excellent feedback from out of town guests. This is one of my top restaurant picks!
